Three deer crossing an opening in a dark woods in search of food while the wolf in the woods is also looking for food. The crow sitting on the branch is watching the entire scene unfold. Yet beyond the forest is the brightness such as at the end of a tunnel. There is an uncertain, certainty. It is up to the viewer to decide how this story ends.

I grew up in West Allis, Wisconsin and now reside in New Hope, Minnesota. My work tends to be more on the personal side. I like to paint images of things that have a clear memory for me and likewise will for many others. In my work, I have been inspired by the beauty of paintings hanging on walls I have noticed the peace certain painting give to residents in long term care facilities and to patients in hospitals. I have also notice how certain works of art have inspired people to observe details in paintings and remember things from their own life because of the painting.
