Were you ever on a well lit trail just off a dark and mysterious path and wondered what was out there? You've heard the warnings by adults, to children, telling them to stay on the trail and not to take short cuts through the woods. I grew up in West Allis, Wisconsin and now reside in New Hope, Minnesota. My work tends to be more on the personal side. I like to paint images of things that have a clear memory for me and likewise will for many others. In my work, I have been inspired by the beauty of paintings hanging on walls I have noticed the peace certain painting give to residents in long term care facilities and to patients in hospitals. I have also notice how certain works of art have inspired people to observe details in paintings and remember things from their own life because of the painting.
