A wolf sits on a rock covered hill on the coast. The wolf has its back to the viewer as it watches the full moon rise into the afternoon sky.

For this one, I wanted to have the wolf at an angle one does not normally see in art. In researching this, I actually found it rather difficult to find an image of the back of a wolf's head.

To create this image, I used a variety of digital art techniques, among them digital painting, 3d rendering, and color enhancement.
